Just found a really useful site that you can download karaoke files for French songs from. There is some free stuff including christmas carols, and joyeux anniversaire. There are mp3 karaoke of French songs and video versions too. You have to pay but the occasional download isn't very expensive. Click here for the link.

Language learning and drama

This is an area that I would really like to explore more. I have come across an interesting Comenius project here which has focused on this and would be interested to hear from anyone who has anything to share on this topic. From experience of doing the most basic role-plays at secondary level the most enjoyable part of this is when the pupils bring their own unexpected twists to the simplest of dialogues and inject character and humour into the most banal of situations.
