If there are any people who read this blog who have ever toyed with the idea of buying a holiday home in France, then this post might be of interest.
If any of you don't really know the Basse Normandie, it is a lovely lush area of rolling hills and beautiful beaches, well worth discovering.
The name and concept for this blog was born on a beach near this property during a time of mid-life soul-searching as to the path I wanted to pursue personally and professionally, so it is close to my own heart. Ideally if anyone wants to drop the necessaries in my lap I will buy it! I'm sharing this info on behalf of a friend.
Here are a few outside photos but go to the site to see the potential. Click to enlarge.
The property is set out in a T-shape with this first photo of the Main House being the top bar of the T and the current gites, the vertical stem. It would easily lend itself to re-conversion into a single holiday home for family groups

There is just enough land with it to make it interesting without becoming cumbersome.

The Gite is an 8 minute drive from the town of Brecey and Avranches (22 minutes) and Mont St Michel (45 minutes) are within easy reach.
The airport of Dinard is an hour away and is served by Ryanair out of East Midlands and Stansted airports, by Flybe out of Birmingham, Luton, Newcastle, Belfast, Aberdeen and Inverness, BMI out of Birmingham and BA out of Glasgow. There are also all of the Ferry Routes of course.
Here is the direct site link with further photos:
Here is the direct link to some video shootage of the outside space
And if anyone buys it, I'll happily come and help christen it with the first fruits of that vinery!
